Uniform expenses are not tax-deductible. As an employee, you are automatically granted the Canada Employment Amount which is designed to cover expenses like uniforms, etc. Turbotax will claim this amount for you when you enter your T4 information.

If you were required to purchase tools for your employment, you may claim these expenses only if you have a completed/ signed Form T2200, Declarations of Conditions of Employment from your employer. If you have this completed form, you can claim this expense in the Employment Expenses section of your return.

Use the Find button in the upper right to search/select the option for Employment Expenses.
