Used online version in 2020, have the CD version for 2021. Transferring 2020 info forward is not supported to the CD version. Can I switch to online version at no cost?

Transfer from TurboTax CD/Download to TurboTax Online is not supported and the product codes are different for TurboTax online and CD/Download.

So depending upon the CD version and plan you purchased, you can use the form on this FAQ to request a refund for CD version and then switch to the online version:
