Why are the numbers downloaded from CRA are different from the T3 forms from my bank?
One possibility is that CRA records may have T3 information from issuers (bank, etc.) that they have received but you may not yet have received your T3 copy from the issuer. Most T3's are filed electronically by the issuers so CRA usually has the information before taxpayers get their own copy of the slip.
