I have downloaded turbo tax premium on my computer. In Saskatchewan there is a graduate retention program. Last year I finished college and had the 20000.00 certificate. I could use 105 for the first 4 years and then 15% for 3 years. In 2016 I did NOT need the 2000.00 credit as I had no saskatchewan tax payable so it became the carry forward. This year I wanted to use the 2000.00 from 2016 and also the 2000.00 from 2017 as my Sask tax was over 5000.00. When I did the return on turbo tax, turbo tax wants to use over 5000.00 in order to make my sask tax zero. This is not correct . Please advise what I can do. Thanks.
This is definitely an issue, thanks for bringing this to our attention. Our team is looking at fixing this and will advise you when the software will be updated to resolve this, or if we can provide a workaround to correct it.
Can you provide a little more information in regards to your particular situation, please?
We apologize for the inconvenience, again thanks for pointing this out to us.
