If you are the business owner, enter the expenses for groceries for your crew in the Other Expenses (specify) blank on the Business Form.

If you fish inshore, you can claim groceries for employees if a) the crew was at sea for more than 36 hours or b) if the groceries are included as a taxable benefit of the employees' T4 slips.

If you are an offshore operation, you claim the total amount of food you purchase for your crew.
