My CPP pensionable earnings are entered wrong do I need to correct?

If you have entered this amount wrong and not NetFiled your return yet, you should go back and edit Box 26 of your T4 slip to reflect the correct amount. 

This amount does affect the tax return slightly, and although CRA may adjust it for you after filing, it's best to do it prior to so you have an accurate record of the tax return.
