Are you referring to Box 20 - Taxable CPP Benefits? You don’t need to enter the amount that appears in Box 20 of your T4A(P), because when you enter in the amounts in Boxes 14 to 19, the program will just calculate Box 20 on its own.

 

Also please make sure that you are on the right page.

How to Enter T4A(P) Slips in TurboTax:

 

 

 

In online editions of TurboTax

 

1. In the upper-right corner of your screen, select Find (magnifying glass) *.

 

2. In the Find window, type in “T4A(P)” and select “T4A(P) Canada Pension Plan Benefits”. Click the “Go” button.

 

3. Select Enter new T4A(P).

 

 

 

In CD/download editions of TurboTax

 

1. On the upper-right corner of your screen, select Find (magnifying glass) *.

 

In the Find window, type in “T4A(P)” and select “T4A(P) Canada Pension Plan Benefits”. Click the “Go” button.

 

3. On the Entering your federal T-slips step, check T4A(P) and select Continue.

 

 

 

* If you don’t see the Find button, you may not have completed the Setting Up/Introduction section of your return. Continue through the Setting Up section until the Find button appears.
