2024 product activation code does not work. error code 607. Support says check for error in entering the code and I have done that and it is entered correctly but still doesn't work. Support won't connect to a live person
Since tax year 2020, there is a difference between a License Code (for Desktop) and an Activation Code (for Online). Error code 607 means the code you are entering is invalid. It can be because one digit (or more) is incorrected or you are trying to enter a Code for TurboTax Online in a Desktop software (or vice-versa).
Can you tell us where you bought your product and exactly what it says on the box, if it's a retail purchase?

We understand, sometimes, this can be confusing but, on the box (or on the retailer website), you have to choose between TurboTax Online and TurboTax Desktop. They are not the same software and codes from one cannot be used in the other one.
If on the box it's TurboTax Online, you can activate your code to your account on this link.
If on the box it's TurboTax Desktop, you can download/install your software from this link.
My activation code for my turbo tax Standard, for PC only, is not working.
i am on a Mac using google chrome.
each time I try to activate with my code is say , something’s not right , try re-entering your code.
there is no error just keeps saying the same thing.
i went on line with your Cobrowse help and they could not help me?
what are the next steps?

@IANANDJOSIE Unfortunately, TurboTax Desktop is only compatible with Windows products, and won’t work on a Mac. You can use TurboTax Online with Mac OS computers, but the codes for TurboTax Online will not work with TurboTax Desktop & vice-versa.

My activation code is not accepted for the premier version.
The license code I entered is correct , still not able to activate the program.
I get error code 66.
The product was bought from Staples .
Is it possible someone At Staples has mixed up or switch activation codes ?

CORRECTION : I BOUGHT THE license CODE FROM WALMART.
I have entered the 16 digit code 5 times , still getting error code is incorrect . Every year Intuit makes changes and every year I have problems of some sort . I can't recommend this product or services . I got an audit from CRA and had to pay extra in taxes .
First, please make sure that you have purchased the right product. The codes for TurboTax Online will not work with TurboTax Desktop & vice-versa.
Second, if you bought TurboTax at a retailer (Costco, Walmart, Staples, etc…), please make sure that you are using the code that came in the package. It may be on a slip of paper or on a scratch-off card. It is not on the outside of the box or on your receipt.
If you have bought TurboTax Online, please go to turbotax.ca/activate to use your code before you start your returns. Using the code again will give an error message.
If you have bought TurboTax Desktop, you will be asked for the licence code when you install the software.
