401k excess contribution refunded but unable to file taxes
I have contributed some additional amount in 2022 and requested for a refund from the financial institution. The refund came in 2023. They have told me 1099-R will be sent for 2023 filing next year.
When I am filing my taxes now I still see “We see you have contributed excess amount to retirement plans.
I can’t get past this and file my taxes. Can you please suggest what can I do to clear this?
