I chose assist and review for myself and it automatically applied to my husbands return as well despite having no help for his stuff and when I called I was told I would have to do the returns separate ?! Like seriously ! I have it all done here to file. I’m so angry right now I’m likely going to just go to a local place. I always do our taxes but this year I had some self employed income and wanted some support in doing it correctly. They didn’t touch his stuff. HELP.
When you prepare your returns with your spouse, that counts as 2 returns. You both will be using the same version, so you'll both pay the same price – even if one spouse didn’t make full use of the product chosen. This goes for any TurboTax product, not just for Assist and Review.
