Can I prepare and file T1135 online if I have TurboTax Premier Desktop?
Yes, you can.
In Forms mode, just search for T1135.
In EasyStep mode, click on Profile, then [Your Name] – Personal Tax Profile in the left side menu. Answer “Yes” to the question “did you own or hold specified foreign property where the total cost amount of all such property, at any time in 2022, was more than$100,000 CAD?”. Then click the Continue button. Now you can use the find tool to search for T1135.
When you go to NETFILE your return, there will be a separate button to NETFILE your T1135.
