cpp overpayment

If I enter box 26 amount same as box 14, line 44800 overpayment fixed to $0.

But still line 30800 shows less amount than box 16. It's 83.19% of box 16.

cpp overpayment

This issue is still happening on April 20th. I've tried everything that's been recommended and the issue persists. Last year, I had another issue and it required me to create a whole new submission, from scratch. I hope this is not the case again. Please inform an ETA for a resolution. Thanks.

@Ryan4474 You are right! The amount shown on line 30800 is 83.1933% of the total actual base and 1st additional contributions on CPP pensionable earnings (T4s box 16). It's to calculate the actual base contribution on your CPP pensionable earnings.

If you are using TurboTax Desktop, you have the possibility to look at the calculation of line 30800 on the RC381 form, in Part 3 - CPP/QPP contribution on employment income.

For more information about this calculation you can visit this link:

cpp overpayment

I have just spent 50 minutes regarding this issue.  I am not clear how to solve it.  My taxes were submitted and CRA is saying that 1800 that was a CPP overpayment is not eligible.  Turbotax support said the calculations are correct.  How am I to resolve this issue?
