CRA is demanding a payment after TurboTax promised a refund. Please help!

The first thing you need to do is to verify your Notice of Assessment. Compare it to what you entered into your TurboTax return to see what the error was.

I did not enter anything into my TurboTax return. Your expert prepared my return and submitted my documents. How is TurboTax going to help me?

If you used TurboTax Full Service, then you need to contact Audit Defence. 

1. Log in to your TurboTax Online for the particular tax year and return being audited or reviewed.
2. From the Return Manager, select the Audit Defence button or link

If you do not see this on your return manager, you would have received an Audit Defence Membership Certificate via email. This email includes the email and phone number for eligible clients to contact AD.
