Even though I have not claimed anything for an Ontario Staycation, I get the following CRA error. I have gone into these forms, and there are no entries other than the automatic ones that Turbotax puts in. Any suggestions?
Code: #963052 - There are entries on the Form ON479 for the staycation tax credit and one of the following situations applies to your return:
1. There must be an entry on both lines 63051 and 63052.
2. Line 63051 = 1, indicating you are making a claim as an individual:
a. You cannot make this claim as an individual when your marital status is married or living common-law.
b. Line 63052 cannot be more than $1,000 when line 63051 equals "1."
3. Line 63051 = 2, indicating you are making a claim as a family. Line 63052 cannot be more than $2,000 when line 63052 equal
I had the same issue.
Put a tick into the box for staycation tax credit.
On the next page the system will ask you about your preference - claim this tax credit or not.
I have put "no".
After that there was no problem sending Netfile to the CRA.
I hope, it will help you.
