Do I need to list joint T5008 for both spouses. Do I enter the total amount on the T5008 shown for each spouse or just half of it?

If you are filing your return with your spouse together, then list "Joint" for the T5008 and list %50 as your share. The software will add the other %50 automatically to your spouse's return. 

If you are filing separately, then you will need to repeat the steps in both returns.
