Error - line 81 of Federal Tax return is now line 76

Hi, In TurboTax Standard it asks you to input "line 81 of Federal Tax return" of your spouse - that's the Canada Caregiver Amount. TurboTax is asking you to input the wrong number and failed to update this. They should be asking for "line 76 of Federal Tax return" which is the Federal Tax on Taxable income!!!

If you enter the value from your spouse's Line 76 into that 'Line 81' box, does your Schedule 2 (Transfers) calculate correctly in the 'Forms View'?

I was always using the latest version - the error was clearly there yesterday when I had to submit my return (prior to vacation). I see it's finally been corrected now! That was so frustrating!

Noticing the same error in my program. It is updated to the latest version as of 30 Mar 2026. I guess they haven't gotten the update to everyone. Specifically in INFOWS section it asks for spouses line 81 amount--which in the case of my software, points to caregiver amount, not spouse federal tax on taxable income, which is actually line 76 for 2025. It doesn't affect me so not an issue. I guess it could cause confusion for others that have an interest in the caregiver area and haven't had their program  updated.
