I was able to revise my submitted return to enter T3's autofill that was entered on my wife's return. It's a chore because you have to copy all the entries with multiple boxes and then transfer them. I had 7 separate entries from the same T3.
Like I said, I've got time and need of the refund, so I tried the revision and, thankfully, was successful.
Shame on you Intuit.
@Chefero do you mean you used the auto download of information from CRA. This fixed the issue? How did the boxes filled in values change?
The T3 have entries in the form that have multiple box entries. To see what was autofilled, you have to open the entry to disclose the box number and the amount. I had 7 separate rows of entries plus splitting each row to 50%. I wrote each field and then deleted all fields in my wife's return. Now I entered all this info on my T3 and netfiled my wife's return successfully.
Rob - I'm having the same problem , but when I enter both figures in box 53 as per your suggestion I still get the Error Code 95365 when I attempt to Netfile. Did this solution work for you and if so, what am I missing?
Rob did entering both figures in box 53 work for you? It didn't fix the T936 problem for me, so I still couldn't file.
Has anybody else noticed that the moderators have been completely silent since their supposed fix was implemented. They haven't even acknowledged that there's still an issue. What a useless company!
Hi, I am also experiencing issues with T3 boxes 52 and 53. Please add me to the list of impacted users. I prepare several returns and am no longer confident about using the product in future. This is unacceptable as we are paying so much to purchase the Premier package.
No it did not work. I am still getting the same error code 95365 when I try to Netfile. If you pull up the PDF of your tax return, you can hit Ctrl F and search for field 68140 to see if the figure is updated. I guess we still have to wait until they update the software. This has been going on for over 3 weeks unresolved. They are aware of the issue.
I feel the root cause of this error may be the on the back of the T3 slip issued by institutions. I just read mine and the formula doesn't make sense. It's no wonder the code developed is giving an error message disallowing online submission but pushing us to mail it in. Maybe if Turbo allows users to bypass the errors for boxes 52 and 53 we could submit electronically instead of mailing. A lot of work for footnotes, doesn't even impact the bottom line.
No, I've tried 6 ways till Sunday and there ain't a darn thing that will remove the errors at the end that is causing us not to submit electronically.
