Interestingly, I was over on the UFILE forums to see if they are experiencing similar issues. They are instructing their clients to leave box 52 and 53 blank and only entering their capital gains in box 21 as its the same figure. The inclusion of box 52/53 were originally included to distinguish the proposed different capital gains rate,s but was later axed by the government. I guess we need clarification from CRA on how to file our T3.
I checked my forms, half my box 21 should end in $0.33, but lines 1 and 14 of Chart A show an ending in $0.43 then line 15 reverts back to $0.33.
All of this over $0.10? Or am I reading this wrong?
I tried that and it didn't work for me. There are two input boxes for 21, 52 and 53. Not sure why??
This is not acceptable. I would like a refund so that I can buy another tax program!
I have the same problem with line 68140 on Form T936 not being populated with the sum of Boxes 21 from my T3 slips and getting error code #95365.
When I called Customer Support (again) this morning they told me that the problem should be fixed by Tuesday 8 April. I'm not holding my breath!!!
Please add me to email list to know when the error is fixed.
Add me to the email list as well for fix and refund. Doing your own taxes with this product has always been easy and rewarding. Not this year.
Same, will we get clear communication when this is fixed? Where will it be announced? Would rather not netfile again, keep getting errors and get locked out.
I am also getting the error message, "The sum of capital gains before June 25 in box 52, and capital gains after June 24 in box 53, must equal the total capital gains i....." I am very frustrated and want to get my taxes finished and filed. Please respond ASAP. Thank you.
