Error T3 Box 52 and 53

I was able to bypass the error and netfile successfully by dividing the amout in box 21 and putting one portion in box 52 and the other in box 53. That cleared the turbotax error and allowed me to file. It also cleared with cra software and I received my notice of assessment.

Nice, but that did not work for me despite trying several variations of your 21=52+53 "solution".

@TurboTaxAniqua , please correct your answer in this community posting.  We are getting the error in TurboTax before we even connect to the CRA website.  TT will not let is get to the actual Netfile page because of this error.  The TT error wording is below.  I have tried all sorts of variations in Box 21,52,&53 trying to make it work without success.  How do I get past that error?

John: You have entered an amount of foreign capital gains included in Box 21 on a T3 slip but have not entered the total capital gains in Box 21, or the amount of foreign capital gains is greater than the total capital gains entered in Box 21. Alternatively, you have entered an amount of tax withheld on foreign non-business income attributable to foreign capital gains included in Box 34, but have not entered the total foreign tax on non-business income in Box 34, or the amount is greater than the total entered in Box 34. Verify and correct the amounts.

In our case all my T3 Box 21 are 0.00, and double checked all T3's box 53 and 52 are 0.00 as well but I still have the warning "The sum of capital gains before June 25 in box 52, and capital gains after June 24 in box 53, must equal the total capital gains in box 21. Review and adjust your entries."

I feel more comfortable adding value to box 53 even if it isn't shown in my T3 slip.

I dont have Box 52 and Box 53 but Box 21. The customer service said the technical team is fixing the issue and notify me.

Was to be 14 th , now you say the 16 . Not to much faith in tt !
