Federal non-refundable tax credits - Personal amounts (taxpayer and spouse)

I am doing a return for both my wife and myself and I am confused to see Her Personal Amount is $12,069.00 and mine comes out at $18,966.28.

I read the amount should be $12,069.00.

Can someone explain the difference please or how I can correct this is it is wrong?

This is not wrong. I don't know your net income to calculate the amount for you. But the personal amount includes the basic amount the age amount:

personal amount = basic amount ($12, 069) + age amount= 7,494 - 15% x (net income - $37,790) = $18,966

Your wife might not be eligible for the age amount for this year.

I hope this was helpful.
