Rounding is NOTthe only cause of error 95365. The following case will also result in this error.
I tried overriding line 68140 and setting it to the value of line 17600 but this prevents Netfiling.
I will try Netfiling again in a few days and hope that the issue is fixed...
Please let me know if you want further details or if the issue is fixed.
Thank you in advance!
@TaiWai62 This issue has been resolved. Please try again after updating the software. We sincerely thank you for your patience during this period.
Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
@TaiWai62 , there are many threads for this error. And you seemed to have created a new one. There are many who have encountered the same error. In addition to what you correctly explained, instructions on the Chart A line 14 says if the total includes an amount from a T3 slip complete lines 15 to 19 below. Since you have a T3 with box 21 filled (and your total before TT set it to 0) includes your T3. TurboTax should have populated 68140. Some of us have spoken with specialists who say that they are working on a fix, but cannot commit to when it will be done. Anyways, just wanted to let you know that others are experiencing the same issue and TurboTax is aware. You might want to look at other threads so you are kept in the loop. Hopefully a fix will be sent before April 30th.
P.S. I would not try to Netfile until I see field 68140 populated. You only have five attempts to net file and then you get locked although you can call CRA and get unlocked.
Thanks for the update and for the 5 attempt warning; I am 3 down.
I wanted to document a detailed configuration so that the software team could more easily reproduce the error and hopefully also include this configuration in the test plan to validate that the fix covers my case. Nevertheless, I guess I should have appended my description to an existing thread, though finding the right one would have been non trivial (some are all over the map in terms of content). Mea culpa!
As for waiting until 68040 is filled, this is one of two possible OK outcomes; the other is that CRA relaxes its test that results in error code 95635.
Thanks again for the quick response.
We have received a fix this morning for this. I was able to Netfile this morning
I have the exact same situation. However, CRA advised me that the Line 15 on the T936 form must be filled in with Box 21 from my T3 slip even though Line 1 is a negative number (Capital loss). The instructions above Line 15 on the T936 form are confusing:
"If the total is "0", do not complete lines 15 to 19, and enter "0" on line 20. If the total includes an
amount from a T3 slip, complete lines 15 to 19 below. Otherwise, enter "0" on line 19."
Both situations exist ! i.e. the total is "0" AND I have an amount from a T3 slip. CRA admits the confusion but claims that Line 15 must be populated with Box 21 from my T3 slip.
I have explained this at length to Intuit, but a fix does not yet seem available.
@Sam12West A fixed was released today. You should receive an update. Check your T936 line 68140 ( should be updated now). I (and others on various threads) have successfully netfiled this morning. I also blanked all box 52 amounts and added to box 53 which should be equal to box 21.
Thanks for updating the thread, after updating TT I was able to file my taxes finally

@Anne04 Thanks for letting me know the fix was now available and working.
In response to your note, I also filed earlier today with no errors and no issues. Like others, I can confirm that the use case I described in the initial post on this thread is now corrected. Thanks to all!
@TaiWai62 Glad to hear that. Thanks for the update!
