For HST registered, self-employed, when entering COGS/expenses, am i including or excluding HST paid?

TurboTax prompts me to enter my total revenue including HST collected, it also explicitly asks me for the HST collected amount

but when it comes to expenses and purchases etc, the interface doesn't prompt me if i should be entering with or without HST

please clarify

If you are registered for GST/HST, then you don't include sales tax on your expenses.
