Grey Sidebar "Summary" entries appear to be missing at the moment in TurboTax Online

Hi,

I've been using TurboTax Online Self--Employed, and have entered most of my tax data, investment income, self-employed income, deductions, and so forth, for tax year 2025.

However I notice on the web browser on desktop, there are no Income Summary, Deductions Summary type of entries in the grey sidebar in TurboTax Online. I take it that is temporary, and they will appear shortly?

Config: MacOS latest, Google Chrome Release Latest Version 144.0.7559.60 (Official Build) (arm64)

The side menu for 2025 is pretty much the same as was for 2024, and that does not have Income Summary, or Deductions Summary options.

Ok well I can't prove Income Summary, etc, was in the sidebar last spring with a screen grab (..funny story, I did just that 2 weeks ago with another unrelated company whose product manager claimed a UI wasn't available a year ago when it was and I did have a screen grab to prove it) but anyway if TurboTax Online 2024 Income Summary, Deductions Summary, etc wasn't in the sidebar last spring - I know I'd have raised a Community ticket last spring, and I didn't.

I used it all the time.

Ok, anyway so how / where do TurboTax Online users now see their Total Income, Net Income, for example?

Like, if you look at the T5 Investment Income entry page, it doesn't even provide a total on that entry page either? I have 21 T5 entries for 2025. Where can I see the total, like I could since I started using TurboTax Online over a decade ago? Thanks.

I know that there were Income Summary & Deductions Summary options in the 2022 version, but it's not longer there. When 2024 launched it didn't even have a sidebar, and it was removed from 2023. They brought it back this summer for 2024 due to customer demand, and that's what was used for the 2025 program. But I can pass on a suggestion to our product development team to add them back.

As for totals for slips types, as far as I can remember, the slip summary page doesn't show totals, it shows what was entered in each slip. The totals were on the income summary pages.

That's correct, yes ^.

My other feedback for those date-entry type summary pages like T5 Investment Income - is don't round the totals in their summary page table rows to the nearest dollar, when the value inside the entry (ie. when you click 'Edit, eg. on a particular T5 entry, which has a Box number 13) is expressed in cents. Those entry summary pages should show full precision also, in cents. Otherwise I have to dive "into and out of" each of my 21 T5 entries to confirm what the actual entered value is.

Please pass along that ^ request to also yes, have them consider resurrecting the Income, Deductions summary pages.It had lots of useful info in it. Right now I'd like to simply see what essentially my Line 12100 will be via an Income Summary page, or a total on the T5 summary entry page, and I can't do either. I have to wait until Netfile and PDF exports becomes enabled, to see what my draft Line 12100 will be.

And bonus, yes provide a "Total" calculation at the bottom of any "laundry list" type of data entry summary page like T5 Investment Income. In cents.
