downloaded and purchased a license for 2023 and 2024 TurboTax for Canada, but keep getting this error. Hmm... it looks like we’ve hit a slight snag

 

I'm on my work Laptop and wondering if this could be a firewall or security issue. How do I confirm that?

You need to provide more information. If it is a Windows Firewall warning, you can ignore it. The file it is complaining about allows TT to access the internet, which you need to do.

Is this a TCP port issue or just windows firewall issue? What other details do you need? I'm not sure why this is so complicated if everything just went across on port 80 we would have no problems, just encrypt communication end to end and you're good.
