How come I have a balance owing before I added any income
It is showing a refund amount as the Climate Action Incentive gets added to your return as soon as you enter your Province. Once you get to the "Provincial" section and answer the questions concerning the CAI it will advise if you qualify or not and if not at that time you the difference in your return.
