Please go to turbotax.ca/activate to use your code before you start your returns. You can see this TurboTax FAQ for step-by-step instructions: In TurboTax Online, how do I use a prepayment code? Please note that you can only use the code once in one account. Using the code again will give an error message.

You will need to download the TurboTax software from here, and then enter the license code when it asks for it.

I am trying to install 2024 and I get to a point when the program is looking for updates. At that point I get a message that I am not connected to the internet. Obviously I am.

I tried reinstalling over the previous installation and then I tried uninstalling and installing again. Each time I received  the same message, that I was not connected to the internet.
