How do I de-couple Federal and Quebec Unused RRSP Deductions

Last year, I filed an amendment to my 2023 return to add a missed RRSP contribution. Quebec provided me a refund and the CRA provided me an Unused RRSP amount to carry forward to 2025. I now have to de-couple the Unused RSP deduction between Federal and Quebec returns but unable to do so in TurboTax. From what I see, TurboTax hard links these together and does not permit a manual override.

Need help to fix this and to ensure I can still eFILE.

To do this in TurboTax Do It Yourself (Online), you would first have to submit your Federal return with the information that's correct for the CRA. Then change the return so it has the correct information for Quebec, and then file to Revenue Quebec.

Understood.

I was wondering how this would affect the optimization of pension splitting but tried with both RSP figures and the split amount was not affected.

Thanks!
