How do I remove RRSP contributions that I didn't enter?
Hi,
Frustration is boiling over - any help that can be provided would be awazing.
I've completed entering all relevant information (T4s, deductions, etc.) and have NOT entered any RRSP conributions, but turbotax thinks that I have and I cannot find a way to remove them.
For some reason, it is maxing out my contributions using my carry over amount from last year. When I check the RRSP contribution page, its says I have $0. But when I look at the return summary and the review, both say I have. This is therefore stating I should be getting a refund that I should be.
Any work around that anyone knows of would be greatly apprecaited.

Is it an unused contribution from a prior year?
You can remove it by going back to the RRSP section.
If you are using TurboTax Online, search for “RRSP” on the Tax Home page. Leave anything that’s checked on the RRSP profile checked off and go through the pages to review/edit data. You can then go back to the RRSP profile and uncheck anything if necessary.
If you are using TurboTax Desktop in EasyStep mode, select Registered Savings Plans > Registered Savings Plan Profile. Leave anything that’s checked on the RRSP profile checked off and go through the pages to review/edit data. You can then go back to the RRSP profile and uncheck anything if necessary.
If you are using TurboTax Desktop in Forms mode, look at the Carry Fwd & RRSP worksheets.
