I am taking out 1/2 of my LIRA in Jan 2026. It is 144,000.00 how will this affect my 2027 taxes. I earn 133,000.00 a year. I live in Alberta.

If you withdraw from your LIRA in 2026, then you'll get a T4RSP tax slip for your 2026 taxes, not 2027. The money withdrawn will be taxed like regular income, so how much you'll be taxed will depend on your total income, as well as what deductions & credits you can take.
