I filed my first tax return in 2025 for the year 2024. I received GST and BCC last month and now CRA is asking me to return this amount. Why?

If you got a notice telling you that you have to pay those amount back, it should say why. I am eligible for gst and carbon credit

I got 680 for gst and 756 for bccatc

I had filed in 2025 for the first time for the year 2024. 

Reason states there was an update to the file. Which I dont know what.

Again, you would need to contact the CRA if you are not sure why they are making you pay back these amounts.
