I have a few questions regarding tax filing as a non-resident for the CRA and Revenue Quebec.

1. Is it correct to select "non-resident" in the Province/Territory field? Since I returned on May 2024, my stay in Canada in 2024 was less than 183 days. 2. Regarding the Provincial section, when selecting "Non-resident," it asks for "Other Canadian-source income." Do I need to re-enter the same income amount as stated in the imported T4, or should I only enter additional income beyond what is reported on the T4? 3. Should I enter my 2024 salary earned in other country under "Other foreign-source income"? 4. If I hire another company to file my tax return with the CRA, can I still prepare and submit my Revenue Quebec tax return separately? Also, how can I distinguish between the documents for the CRA and those for Revenue Quebec? 5. As a non-resident, am I required to submit my tax return by mail instead of filing it online? If so, can I print the necessary documents for mailing?

TurboTax will only show you the Quebec forms if you choose Quebec as your province. So you would have to choose Non-Resident to create your Federal return. Then create a copy and change the province to Quebec so that you can fill out the forms for Revenu Quebec.

You would only put in an amount for Other Canadian-source income if you haven't already entered it somewhere else.

You would enter your Japanese salary as Net employment income on the Statement of World Income  page.

Yes, you can print & mail only your Quebec return. You will need to as you won't be able to transmit it digitally. When you get to the end of your return, choose Print & Mail instead of NETFILE. You'll separate options to download the CRA copy & the Quebec copy, so you can choose just the Quebec one if needed. This Revenu Quebec page tells you where you can mail your return: Filing Your Income Tax Return by Mail
