I have moving expenses carried forward from 2023, should the system not be decreasing the amount I can claim by the amount claimed last year?
Move was in November of 2023, as the expenses are claimed against income earned at new location, have substantial amount to claim this year. However system wants me to input all the moving details, does not seem to be picking up what was claimed for previous year

Did you claim these expenses in 2023? If your moving expenses are either more than your reported income or were not claimed 100% in a given year, you can carry them forward and claim them in future year(s).
Did you import your information from the previous year's return?
