I'm self employed, simple consulting work. I've been purchasing the self employed turbo tax for years. my wife has a standard T4 job. can I use 2 different turbo tax?

I normally purchase the 12 return self employed turbo tax. Can I purchase a single self employed return and then a single regular return for my wife or does it complicate things by not filing together?

You can use a different version than your wife if you file separately, but somethings will be different. For example, optimizers won't be available because there is no other spouse to optimize with.
