I paid around $20,000 last year for tuition fee. Can I get any credit or return on it?

Yes, if you have a T2202, you can enter it on your return to get the tuition credit, which can reduce or eliminate your taxes owing. If you can't use the credit on your return, you may be able to transfer all or part to your spouse/common-law partner, to their parent or grandparent, or to your parent or grandparent. Any unused credit will carry forward to future years
