Input amounts

Input amounts

If you're trying to input your rental income in TurboTax and it's not accepting the amount, there could be a few reasons why:

  1. Incorrect format: Make sure you're entering the amount in the correct format. For example, if you're trying to enter $1,000, you should enter it as "1000" without any commas or dollar signs.

  2. Wrong input field: Ensure that you are inputting the amount in the correct input field. Sometimes, if you enter an amount in the wrong input field, the program won't accept it. Double-check to make sure you're inputting the rental income in the correct field.

  3. Unusual character: TurboTax may not accept certain special characters, such as currency symbols or foreign characters. Try removing any special characters from the input and see if that works.
  4. If that doesn't work, try updating the program or clearing all the cookies and cache.

If the error still persist, we believe your best option is to contact our telephone support team for further assistance, as they have the option to view your screen to help resolve the issue. To contact them, please follow this link: Contact Us
