I’m trying to input my rental income and the program just dings. It won’t accept the amount? Why
If you're trying to input your rental income in TurboTax and it's not accepting the amount, there could be a few reasons why:
Incorrect format: Make sure you're entering the amount in the correct format. For example, if you're trying to enter $1,000, you should enter it as "1000" without any commas or dollar signs.
Wrong input field: Ensure that you are inputting the amount in the correct input field. Sometimes, if you enter an amount in the wrong input field, the program won't accept it. Double-check to make sure you're inputting the rental income in the correct field.
If the error still persist, we believe your best option is to contact our telephone support team for further assistance, as they have the option to view your screen to help resolve the issue. To contact them, please follow this link: Contact Us.
