Line 12000 - Glitch?

Hi - There appears to be a software glitch in the 2024 income tax software.  I have reported NO Dividend amounts in the return, yet an amount of money automatically appears at line 12000.  I have called and spent the last 45 minutes trying to get this resolved, and no-one there seems to be able to override this glitch in the system.   Please HELP!!

Thank you.

Did you use Auto-Fill? Do you have any slips that might have dividends reported on them? Dividends are usually shown on a T5 Slip, T4PS Slip, T3 Slip or T5013 Slip. Are you using TurboTax Desktop or TurboTax Online?

No, I didn't use Auto-Fill.  And there were no dividends to report from any of the T-forms that you listed.

I am using the desktop version of TurboTax.

@Arlene1947 When you click twice on the amount on line 12000, it's bringing you to federal Worksheet (see the screenshot).

You should exactly see where is this amount and where it is coming from by clicking twice on it.

Can you please provide us a screenshot of the same part of this federal worksheet?

Thank you for choosing TurboTax.

Thanks for replying, but I deleted the return and started a new one and it's fine.

For the record, I had NOT entered the amount anywhere on the form, it just appeared from nowhere.
