In the Minnesota State TurboTax, the software automatically calculates the "Social Security Benefit Subtraction" that shows on line 12 of the 2023 Schedule M1M, Income Additions and Subtractions. There is clearly a glitch. It is showing over 4X what it did last year on comparable inputs. I just got a letter from MN Dept of Revenue correcting my return and it is due to this.
I started a fresh return just to see if it has been fixed from when I did this over a month ago and it is still calculating incorrectly.
This is a problem that needs to be fixed.
