We are not certain what you mean by what you do with your wife as everyone needs their own return. If you mean you do both your returns as a spousal and at the same time, you are in fact doing two returns. In this case, no a child's return cannot be done this way. Your child should have their own return as seen in our TurboTax article: Why All Working Children Should File A Tax Return.
If you are claiming your child as a dependant, the software will ask you if they had income which is where you will include their income.
