Not honouring 40% discount

Tried to purchase the desktop version at the 30% off on March 10th (the last day of the promotion) at 11:00 pm and it kept coming up at full price.  I tried three times and finally gave up just before midnight.  The screen said $28 but when I went to check out it kept coming up at $40.  I spoke to the customer service person yesterday and she said it expired earlier in the morning on March 10th.  Really?   If that was the case it should have said that in the promotion email. I kept screenshot proof that I was on at 11:41 PM and it showed $28 but tried to bill me $40.   
 
Very disappointed that I now have to pay full price.  If Turbotax cannot honour what they promote as a discount and their customer service is useless then after ten years, it's time to find a new tax program.

Not honouring 40% discount

I have spent parts of two days on Turbotax support trying to get them to honour their 40% discount I received in an email from them on April 23. This was a total of 51 minutes yesterday and 85 minutes today with no resolution.

The last person I talked to said it was a discount offered until April 16 when the email clearly says April 30. As we were not able to get a screen capture to work a program called glance it was essentially they would not do anything for me.

As I had paid and submitted my taxes it was too late even though I explained my assumption from the email was the discount would apply on checkout which I mistook apparently as before I filed.

The first day as I had to leave after 51 minutes I received an email saying the file was closed and had to explain everything again the next day even though I was told it was all going to be on file.

I am now waiting for s callback from a supervisor which I am told will be in 48 to 72 hours.

Very disappointed s I sit and wait.
