Online vs Download Pricing

I've always purchased the download version of Turbotax.  I loved the fact that you received 8 returns for $35 and you are able to use the forms method for entering information.  We've now updated all of our computers to Mac OS and I see that there isn't a download version available for Mac's.

I also notice that I have to pay $19 per return using the online version.  Therefore, I will need to spend more money this year.

Is there a similar pricing option as the $35 one when you download the software ?  Why can't I get 8 returns for $35?  Why do I have to spend $160 ?

FYI: With the TurboTax Online 8 Return pack, you get one code that is good for 8 returns. All the returns must be used on the same account, which could be an existing account or a new one.
