Both my spouse and myself didn't claim to have any property or sale of principal residence when we inputted the tax return. However, when we generated the final file of the tax return, there are forms called "Designation of a Property as a Principal Residence by an Individual (Other than a Personal Trust)" and "Principal Residence Designation Worksheet", which seem to be totally irrelevant.
Please advise if we really need to submit these forms to CRA. Thanks.

If the form is empty and you did not need to file it, you can leave it out. To delete the form please see the image below.
