I have been using your programs since the came out on floppy discs, using the forms method without a problem. I now received this message: “We disallowed your climate action incentive since only one spouse can claim it”. I had to submit another $336.00.

Since the climate action incentive is entered by the program, the program should also remove one incentive when split income filing is submitted,

Please respond if the program will be modified to prevent the same problem for next years’ return.

If you do a joint return then it will ask you which one of you will be claiming the ACI. Only one of you can claim this credit.
