I am having the same issues. There is an update available this morning but it takes me around in circles. I can only open the program if I say "No" to the update.
I spoke at length (1 hour 50 minutes) on Tuesday to a Customer Service representative who was speaking to another "more knowledgeable" person at the same time - I shared my screen with them - they redid everything I had already tried and nothing worked (I am claiming 100% of the T3). I have a net capital loss, but the capital gain from Box 21 of the T3 does not show up on line 68140 of the T936, and therefore I cannot Netfile. The Customer Service rep was ALMOST as frustrated as me. Her words - "there is an ongoing investigation" "it is a product defect".
I am almost relieved to know it is not me - I have spent hours on this and I've been questioning my own intelligence?!
After jumping through some hoops to get this update installed (see my previous messages), I can verify that TurboTax appears to be correctly splitting capital gains between spouses now. Line 17600 and line 68140 on both me and my wife's tax returns are showing the same amount as in WealthSimple, which I successfully Netfiled from a few days ago. Also, the refund amounts are now showing the same in TurboTax as in WealthSimple. So I'm guessing that if I were to Netfile our returns from TurboTax now, it would probably work.
However, I'm not yet confident that this will allow people with capital losses to Netfile. As I mentioned in a post yesterday, there also seems to be a bug in CRA's code that checks for error 95365, and I believe the chances of this bug happening to people with capital losses is likely. I won't regurgitate that post here. Search for it. But the gist of it is that CRA's current code does not seem to look at line 17599 when doing the validation, which it should. There was a post on Reddit yesterday (mentioned in these forums by another user) where CRA did tell WealthSimple that CRA's validation code for error 95365 had a bug and they were working on it and that bug would affect every brand of tax software.
I called in ....told me to uninstall and reinstall from scratch.
I did that. Walked through easy step to check T3 info was there.
Looked at Schedule 3...it seems OK
Looked at T936 and it has nothing.
Not working for me - and I have net Losses on my wife's return. Not sure if that is the issue.
Also not working for me after a complete reinstall. I have a capital loss in my wife's return.
It is still not working for me after reinstall.
The line 68140 in T936 is still empty. This is FRUSTRATING

Yup. I absolutely expected that this update would not fix error 95365 for most (if not all) people with capital losses. CRA still needs to do a fix on their end for this scenario. I feel pretty confident in saying that. See some of my earlier posts from today and yesterday about this. But at least TurboTax did fix the spousal splitting of capital gains issue. That's an improvement. However, the update process was more clunky than usual.
There is no spousal splitting for me and I have a capital loss.
This is still broken.
T936 is not being updated for me - so it is still a turbotax issue. I am not even at the point of attempting a netfile to see it fail with the CRA.
Turbotax has to fix it so that the proper fields are being udpated.
Yes, there is no point trying to resubmit it using NETFILE if the line 68140 is still empty.
Finally success. I was able to submit both of our returns through NetFile after fully reinstalling TurboTax since the Update would not load. That fixed the incorrect lines so no more error code #95365.
