Does skipping the auto-fill from the CRA do anything? Or should I just continue to the next step (my tax profile) ?

Does skipping the auto-fill from the CRA do anything? Or should I just continue to the next step (my tax profile) ?

Hi @evattheriault
Thanks for you for your question. The auto-fill feature makes completing your taxes even easier by:

  • You can automatically import your tax information from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) right into TurboTax with Auto-fill my return (AFR).
  • Register for your CRA My Account to be able to use the TurboTax AFR service.
  • AFR helps you avoid future requests for review, by using the information the government already has on file for you, it is virtually a stress-free process from beginning to end.

If you choose to skip this step, you'll have to manually enter all the required information from your slips and previous returns. Make sure you double check your inputs for accuracy!
