Error T3 Box 52 and 53

Has this error been fixed? as I am having problems now

Error T3 Box 52 and 53

Has this not been fixed yet??  I tried the suggestion of putting everything in box 53, but still get the same error.

Netfile won't let me file with this error and I can't see a way to override it.  HELP!

Is my only recourse to print and file?  Ugh!  Not what I signed up for.

Error T3 Box 52 and 53

I called Turbo Tax customer service in regard to this issue.  This is the workaround they provided.

1). On your T3 slips add box 52 & Box 53. (Example: Box 52 = $200 + Box 53 = $500 = Total $700).

2). On your Turbo tax. Go to your T3.  Click "Other Boxes".

3). Leave both Box 52 blank (Foreign Capital Gains & Total Capital Gains)

4). Type the total of box 52 & 53 of your T3 slips which is $700 on both Box 53 (Foreign Capital Gains & Total Capital Gains). Click "Done with other boxes".  This will automatically update both box 21 amount from box 53($700) (Foreign Capital Gains & Capital Gains).

Error T3 Box 52 and 53

I updated TT today hoping this was in fact resolved for me.

I Updated TT.

Deleted the single T3 that I share 50% with my wife

Re-entered T3 (numbers in cell 21 but nothing in 52 or 53) and left 52/53 blank.

Checked errors and error returned.

Update did not fix this for me.

I then followed the guidance of entering the sum of 52 and 53 = 0 which did not change anything.

I then entered the number from 21 in 53 (Total Capital Gains) and this seemed to fix the the error.

Intuit has broken any trust I have with them.  Very concerned that this work around will cause an audit.  Intuit should be backing us (insuring us) if CRA chooses to audit us due to this issue and the manual workaround we have had to use.
