Thanks!
So I can cancel the T2200 and open up the T777 form instead and populate the information as needed?
@ichin Yes, you would use one T777 form per employer.
How do I submit two T777 form in online version?
I changed the residence so I need to claim rent in one (rented) and home expenses in another one (Owned)
@sheshf TurboTax Online only lets you enter one T777. You can either combine the 2 locations, or submit your return with one location and then do an adjustment for the second location.
Hello,
I am not eligible for GST/HST rebate however if I don't complete the Zero ated and exempt column it won't input the amount on line 42 of the T777? Should I add the amount anyways so it transfers to line 42?
Do you pay rent? If yes, that would go under the tax-exempt,
Thank you. Thee is another box "amounts included above that relate solely to the work space in your home. If I fill this amount in, it adds it to Line A on your T777 (which is not on the T777 guide for Employment expenses from CRA.) The T777 in turbo tax has line A and also line 48 for the percentage. Is this duplicated? I cannot putt his in the box and also indicate the percentage for Line 48. This is very confusing.
Line 48 is the percentage of the house being used for your office/business.
You can do it easily and enter how many rooms are in your house and how many are used for your home office.
Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
there are fields in your turbo tax that is required to be completed and then it automatically inputs to the T777. It is the field that asks you the question "amounts included above that relate to the work space in your home". If I complete it with the percentage of employment use amount it automatically puts it in line A and line 48 duplicates the amount?
THe CRA guide does not have line A.
