same here
I'm getting the same issue: "You can't proceed further because one or more of your tax forms is currently unavailable. Please check back later."
Customer support informed me the deadline is March 15th. However, I didn't find any official information about this, so I'm not sure it's the real deadline.
It's disappointing that this isn't being prioritized and is taking so long to resolve.
I called Revenue Canada this morning and they indicated as per their website that they will be updating Schedule 3 in the next several weeks. Also, the current version of Schedule 3 ( in PDF form) on their website should not be used as it is the incorrect version. I have now removed the capital gains receipt info from the return but as of this mornings Turbotax update, the software will not allow me to print my return and I do not Netfile. I have completed my return without the capital gains info and have no other forms that are on the locked list, so conceivably I should be able to print my return and pop it in the mail, but the software will not give me the option to print. I am at a screen which gives me the message: "CRA's Netfiling service for Tax Year 2024 will open in mid February 2025. Please come back then to print or electronically file your return. This is incredibly frustrating. I have never had so much problems using Turbotax. Can you please tell me what's going on here. Has the software now been locked for all until Schedule 3 has been updated ??
Hi all,
I am in Quebec and I am facing the same issue, when including the T5 form.
Even though the T5 form is not locked, it seems to be a glitch with Turbotax. I have been on the phone with TurboTax customer support for 2+ hours today, no luck. They cannot figure out the issue.
Very disappointing to not be able to file a basic tax return.
This must be escalated immediately.
I am in QC too. They told me on the phone that it could be the reason that CRA 'locked' my T5 form, and they suggested me to wait a couple days and check it again. So disappointing to get this useless suggestion
I had never so much problem with this online application, especially in the most rushed time of the tax season. I had finally decided to use another application and I was able to file it. We don't know when the fix will be available and I can't afford to wait longer as I have a trip coming soon.
I am having the same problem. I deleted the T5 (I actually did not receive a T5 this year because the interest earned was too low, so I just inputted the small interest under "earned interest/investment income without a T5". But in my case deleting the T5 did not solve the problem. I still cannot submit the returns. I too was told to wait a couple of days for an update (call 1 to service), and then told that it is CRA's fault and that I simply need to wait until...? (call 2 to service).
Update on my end. I have deleted the T5 and did not input any interest at all. I was able to submit.
Once the problem is fixed, I will return and submit an adjustment request.
I will be forcing Turbo Tax to refund me the cost of submitting an adjustment form.
At least I don't have to wait for my very substantial tax return.
I'm very tempted to file without the T5 as well. I'm just curious, wouldn't the adjustment be made automatically when the CRA reviews your file and realize a "mistake" was made? I figure they'll just send me a letter saying I owe them $30 and I'll pay it back then.
