In my retirement I started a small online business, so I selected the Self-Employed form of TurboTax for $44.99. For pension splitting reasons, I chose to do my wife's and my taxes together. The small business has nothing to do with her or her form, yet at checkout TurboTax is asking for $44.99 for her return as well. This isn't right.
Same here.
If you prepare your return together with your spouse, then you will both will be using the same version of the program, and you will both be charged the same price. You can only prepare your returns in different products if you prepare your returns separately.
