If I enter a T3 amount for Capital Gains Box 21 on the T3 Slip entry page and show my portion as 50% and my Spouse's as 50%, ALL of the Capital Gains end up on my T1. NONE of the Capital Gains end up on my Spouse's as it should. This ERROR is readly apparent on Schedule 3 Part 4 where all of the "Capital gains or losses from your T3 slips" (Line 17599) are allocated to only my Line 17599 whereas 50% should be on mine and the other 50% on my Spouse's Line 17599. Unbelievable what a mess this year's TurboTax releases have been ... even the latest update from a couple of days ago hasn't fixed this.

The CRA updates are regarding timing and associated percentages which by law have been deferred. These CRA changes have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH SPLITTING 50/50 with spouse. Just more excuses from TurboTax for a highly flawed product at both release and with updates so far. FIX YOUR SOFTWARE. I can't believe I paid for this garbage.
@brnsdv we understand your frustration and we apologize for the inconvenient.
We suggest you to visit this link from CRA.
As my colleague explained, they are working to update the Schedule 3, related to your T3. This means, all forms related to, including the entire Schedule 3 and the split with your spouse, can have some wrong calculations. Some of these forms are completely locked.
Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
All of these errors are WAY beyond "inconvenient". Just plain sad. In over 30 years of using your original product QuickTax and now TurboTax I have never see such a s---show as this year. Absolutely unacceptable.
You need new people.
